Founded in 2015 by Gio Fisher and Gita Arends, united by their love for Christ, dance, and a desire to impact young lives through dance, G-Squared is a part-time, community-based dance school. Our students hail from diverse areas such as Retreat, Steenberg, Grassy Park, Lavender Hill, and even Kensington.

At G-Squared, we offer training in four genres: Ballet, Modern, Hip-Hop, and Contemporary, catering to students aged 3 and above, including those in their 40s. Our dance year comprises exams across all genres, competitions, and a highly anticipated show that marks the pinnacle of our activities.

Consistently excelling in competitions, G-Squared has secured Top 3 positions in all our entries. In 2024, nine of our students earned SA Colours and will represent South Africa at the World Championships in Blackpool, England—our second international tour after competing in France in 2021 with our Senior Crew.

Grading exams are pivotal at our studio, fostering technical growth and a sense of accomplishment as students progress through the grades. Our instructors are all certified through reputable organizations like AIDT (Association of International Dance Teachers), TDA (Theatre Dance Association), and DSCL (Dance Sport Club League).

With six part-time dance instructors, our studio is located at Every Nation Retreat and warmly welcomes individuals of all races and religions.
