Iziko Lobomi Centre
The centre was established through the vision and work of the Hout Bay Christian Community Association and continues today as a special project supported by the Salt and Light Foundation, working in partnership with churches and community leaders across Cape Town.
“Iziko Lobomi” means “Place of Life.” The centre exists to create opportunities for children, youth, and families to grow, learn, and thrive.
Serving the Community of Imizamo Yethu
Imizamo Yethu is a vibrant and resilient community, but many families face challenges such as unemployment, overcrowded housing, and limited access to educational opportunities.
The Iziko Lobomi Centre provides a safe and welcoming space where community members can gather, learn new skills, and participate in programs designed to strengthen individuals and families.
Through partnership and collaboration, the centre seeks to build hope, dignity, and opportunity for the next generation.
